Sunday worship

Here is my Creative Chaos post. This past Sunday at Cornerstone, Ed (my husband) did something that I thought was pretty cool. He had recently bought me something called The Bible Experience from Inspired By Media Group. I had seen it a couple of months ago on a commercial or something. It’s an audio recording of the entire Bible by actors and actresses, singers, etc. So, during worship this Sunday we were singing 4 songs. There needed to be some sort of transition between the third and fourth songs. The fourth song was “My Hope is You” by Third Day. The song is written from Psalm 25. Ed decided he wanted to have the audio Bible play Psalm 25 between the third and fourth song. Our sound/media guy, Mark, put the words to the Psalm up on the screen and scrolled through the text as the CD played. He uses this program called ProPresenter (I think). Anyway, on the two side screens he had a background loop playing that was a flowing stream. The CD had sound effects with it behind the speaking and you could hear the sound of flowing water and birds and such. It worked out really well and I thought it was a nice effect to show people that the worship songs we are singing come from passages in the Bible.
